Kali the Destroyer

Kali the Destroyer

Kali unleashed is a deadly, wild and uncontrollable force. Shiva is the only one that can tame her, as he is the only one that can match her wildness, but she seldom listens to him any more. She is the destroyer and considered a “forbidden thing”, but many men are tempted by her beauty and become bewitched to serve her will.

Vishnu called on her to destroy the dark forces and demons in the aluna, and she served that function well. But she became blinded in the rage of her own destructive energy, and she nearly wiped out everyone, including those she loved. So, Vishnu called in Shiva to tame her, and Shiva laid himself down in the path of her destructive course as an act of sacrifice to end her rampage.

The Kali force is a complex energy to understand. She’s an energy moving backwards in time. A mystical force. The first time I encountered her, I was on an ayahuasca journey with a Kogi shaman in Ecuador. I entered this monochromatic red dimension that I call the Kali room. Everything was in shades of red. She appeared as this naked red feminine being with long tentacles flowing from the back of her head. Her skin seemed alive and textured with complex fractal designs. She was dancing in a beautiful flowing motion to the rhythm of the shaman’s rattle, which I learned later to be the Tandava—the cosmic dance of creation, preservation and destruction.

At one point in the journey, I observed Kali and Shiva transform into these beautiful black panthers. Everything went very dreamy and had a seductive, trance-like feeling to it, and the panthers mated in some kind of mystical ritual. Then Kali was shown many times giving birth. I kept turning away from it, as it didn’t seem appropriate for me to be watching, but she was very forceful in making me observe what was happening. Basically, it was telling me that the energies of Shiva and Kali merged to bring a new energy into the world.

Three months later, an etheric baby was born in the hotel lobby of the Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which turned out to be the tenth incarnation of Vishnu and the baby in Revelation that is carried away by an eagle… I know a little bit about it, but that’s a story for another time.

The next major encounter I had with Kali, I was on an ayahuasca journey with my ‘ol teacher, while we were in Vancouver, Canada. We were on a mission at the time, battling a dragon and wiping out dark forces in the hell worlds. Loads of fun. I had gone to my hotel room for the evening, when Kali appeared to me again. This time, she was in sexual union with Shiva in his Bhairava form—a fierce and violent form associated to annihilation. Again, I didn’t feel like it was appropriate for me to be watching such a thing, so I shuffled it away to focus on other things.

Three months later, another etheric baby was born. I wasn’t there for that one, but I was aware of it as it was happening. This one turned out to be an incarnation of the Goddess Lakshmi, which we’ll also cover later.

Then something happened that the ancient writings never mentioned, as it is something new to our place in time. The Shiva Kali War. In the aluna worlds, we observed Kali attacking Shiva over and over again. She’s relentless, but while she was attacking him, he was focussed on destroying an arsenal of dark pods that exist in a dimension in hyperspace. Those pods are where she gets her dark power. I’ve seen him throw his trident into the dark fields, and it transforms into a golden fractal circuitry of light that wipes them out in droves. It’s amazing to watch. It seems to be effective, as their war has dwindled down to just an occasional attack by her from time to time.

Here’s where things get really strange. There is a female human being here in the physical plane that is the current avatar (incarnation) of the Goddess Kali. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her on several occasions. She’s an Indian woman with tan skin and long black hair, but when you look at her, her skin often looks very blue. Sometimes tiny bluish-white dots appear on her face in spiral patterns, or her features will melt away entirely, revealing what looks like a universe full of stars. One night I was watching her during a special prayer. Her body turned into a silhouette, and a large black panther with a golden snake around its neck walked out of her back and came towards me. She’s one of the most mystical women I’ve ever met.

The downside is that she’s very much everything that the Goddess Kali is known for. Despite her celestial aspects, she’s a dark witch that doesn’t seem to have any compassion for humans, and she has no hesitation in wiping them out. But I can’t really judge her for that, as that is part of her function. In a strange way, we need her, as the Kali energy is aligned to the Vengeance of Gaia and a necessary aspect of the Renewal. As far as I’m concerned, it’s best to let her run her course and stay out of her way. You’d be wise to do the same.

But it seems to me that Shiva still holds a special place in his heart for Kali, even though she’s deadly, totally out of control and attacks him relentlessly in the aluna worlds. Sometimes he contemplates whether she’ll ever come good and return to a state of celestial grace. She did birth the gods after all.
